Perfect Air Fryer Shrimp

These Air Fryer Shrimp without breading are done in less than 10 minutes and are perfect for bowls, salads, or as a main dish paired with veggies. Air Fryer Shrimp Ingredients
- Shrimp: Peel and devein 32 jumbo shrimp.
- Spices: Garlic powder, sweet paprika, dried parsley, salt
- Olive Oil: Mix two tablespoons of oil with the spices.
- Lemon Wedges for serving
How Long to Air Fry Shrimp
- Spice Mixture: Mix the spices with the oil, then coat the shrimp with this mixture.
- Air Fry: Place the raw shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If they don't all fit, you may need to do another batch. Air fry them at 400°F for five to six minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
What to Serve with Air Fryer Shrimp
- Tacos: Wrap the shrimp in corn tortillas and top with cilantro and a creamy lime sauce. You can also season the shrimp with Latin spices like chili powder and cumin. Alternatively, use lettuce wraps for a low-carb option.
- Bowls: Create a bowl with quinoa or rice, add your favorite veggies, and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
- Salads: Enhance any salad with air-fried shrimp for an extra boost of protein.
- Main Dish: Pair the shrimp with roasted broccoli rabe, butternut squash, carrots, or any other side dish of your choice.
- Tostadas: Build a tostada shell with layers of refried beans, guacamole, salsa, and shrimp.
- Sandwich: Place the shrimp between two slices of bread along with butter lettuce and tartar sauce for a satisfying sandwich option.
How to Store Shrimp
Store any leftover shrimp in airtight containers in the refrigerator for three to four days. You can enjoy them cold or reheat them in the microwave for 30 seconds before serving
Variations:
Shrimp: You can purchase fresh or frozen shrimp that's already peeled and deveined to save time. If using frozen shrimp, be sure to thaw it before adding the spices.
Spices: Feel free to experiment with different spices! Try using your favorite store-bought blends like Old Bay or Tajin, or create your own combination. Consider adding onion powder or substituting parsley with oregano.
No Air Fryer? No worries! Simply cook the shrimp in a skillet for about three minutes on each side.
